Baby items I re-used as a second time mom

Some baby items are truly worth their weight in gold. Especially if you plan to have more than 1 child and want to reuse items. Below are 4 items I reused, would buy again, and saving in case of a third baby, because they are that good!

Love to Dream Swaddle

We purchased this item after trying to use regular swaddles that our first baby would weasel out of every single night. Newborns and infants sleep with their arms up by their heads most of the time so fighting them to swaddle their arms downwards is just not worth it. This swaddle also has options to purchase with removable arms as you transition baby out of a swaddle, I didn’t particularly find that feature needed though so we went with the regular one.

Fisher Price Play Gym

This play gym may have been missing a few hanging toys on the second go around with baby number 2, but it still did a fantastic job during hours of tummy time, learning to roll, and crawl. Absolutely could not live without it and I have it packed away for the possibility of a third baby in the future.

Leapfrog Learning Center

I know what you’re thinking, another rainbow-colored toy that isn’t going to fit into my farmhouse aesthetic. Go ahead and just get over that now, move on, and accept your kids need exciting and fun toys and not something that blends into your house.

Now this particular toy, got lost in our move after our first baby. But it was so good we repurchased. It is a MUST.

It also seconds as a walker if you have hard wood floors and a determined baby.

Lollipop Baby Monitor

Every baby monitor has its pros and cons list depending on what YOU are looking for in a monitor as a parent. For me personally, I did not want to have to carry around an extra screen, so the benefit of the Lollipop monitor for me was it streams onto an app on mine and my husband’s phones.

Another benefit for me was the ability to literally wrap the monitor around the baby crib. In our condo in Korea, we weren’t allowed to drill anything into the walls so I either had to have a monitor that could be fixated onto the crib or sit on a table, and this can do both. If you peep the second picture, you’ll see how you can coil the bottom up for the monitor to stand alone.

A lot of parents I talk too do not want a monitor that connects to Wi-Fi, so be aware if that is you that this monitor may not be for you as it does run on Wi-Fi and not its own network.

All in all, we liked it enough to buy 2!
